10mm Pea Shingle

Our 10mm Pea Shingle is a rounded natural gravel aggregate produced for drainage, decorative landscaping, pipe bedding, and general groundwork applications. The smaller 10mm grading creates a softer and more compact decorative finish than larger gravel while still maintaining reliable water movement through the aggregate layer. Groundworkers and landscapers regularly use this material around soakaways, drainage trenches, underground services, pathways, and planting areas where free-draining rounded stone is required without creating an overly coarse surface appearance. We supply this material loose for domestic and commercial landscaping projects across Manchester and surrounding North West areas.

The rounded stone grading gives pea shingle a smoother and more natural appearance than angular decorative aggregates, which makes it particularly suitable for garden borders, pedestrian pathways, patio edging, and low-maintenance landscaping schemes. The smaller aggregate size also helps create more even surface coverage around paving, decking, raised beds, and water features where decorative finish quality matters alongside drainage performance. Unlike compactable aggregates, pea shingle remains permeable and loose which allows water to move naturally through the surface layer.
