Description

Our Road Planings are reclaimed bituminous road surfacing materials produced from road reconstruction and resurfacing projects for reuse across access routes, temporary roads, hardstanding, and bulk groundwork applications. The material typically contains crushed asphalt and coated road stone with residual bitumen content that helps bind the aggregate together during compaction. Groundworkers, farmers, contractors, and property owners regularly use road planings where economical surface coverage and practical compaction performance are required across large outdoor areas and lower-cost surfacing projects.

We supply this recycled surfacing material across Manchester and surrounding North West areas for farm tracks, temporary haul roads, yard surfacing, rural access routes, and driveway reinstatement works. The bituminous content helps the material compact into a firmer surface than loose aggregate alone, particularly during repeated traffic loading. Contractors commonly install road planings across working yards, site entrances, storage compounds, and rural roads where a fully finished tarmac installation would be unnecessary or uneconomical. Loose load delivery makes the material suitable for machine-spread surfacing and large-scale coverage projects.
